# shadcn 官方 MCP 用手写 mcp_servers.shadcn 本地 stdio

官方 Codex：手写 [mcp_servers.shadcn]，command = npx，args = ["shadcn@latest", "mcp"]。shadcn CLI 不能自动改 config.toml。这是本地 stdio，不要 mcp login。不要抄 Claude 的 mcp init --client claude。

shadcn/ui 给 Codex 有专节。官方 Note：`shadcn` CLI **不能**自动改 `~/.codex/config.toml`，必须手写。这是**本地 stdio**，不是远程 URL，**不要** `mcp login`。

同一张表的 CLI 写法：

用户层表名官方就是 `shadcn`。官方 args **没有** `-y`；非交互环境才自己加。不要给这张表加 `--url`。不要 `mcp login`。

不要抄 Claude 的 `pnpm dlx shadcn@latest mcp init --client claude`。不要抄 JSON `mcpServers`。不要抄 Cursor 的 `.cursor/mcp.json`。不要抄 VS Code 的 `.vscode/mcp.json` 里那个 `servers` 包装键。不要发明 `codex plugin add shadcn@…`。不要抄 `npx mcp-remote`。这不是 DesignRevision 那台远程 HTTP MCP。

默认 shadcn/ui registry 不用额外配。项目要接更多 registry，写在项目 `components.json` 的 `registries`，不是 MCP 表：

私有 registry 的鉴权官方写在 `components.json` 和项目 `.env.local`，例如环境变量 `REGISTRY_TOKEN`。不要把 token 写进 MCP 的 `env` 表、`args` 或 `http_headers`。不要 `codex mcp add --env SECRET=`。

冷启动 `npx` 可能超过默认 10 秒握手，把 `startup_timeout_sec` 提到 30–60。不要 `required = true`。不要一上来 `--yolo`。网页 Cloud 不读 `~/.codex/config.toml`。

改完彻底新开会话。用 `codex mcp get shadcn` 看 command 是 npx。会话里先问 `Show me all available components in the shadcn registry`。出现 No tools or prompts 时先 `npx clear-npx-cache`，再新开会话。

不要做这些：

- 不要发明 `codex plugin add shadcn@openai-curated`。
- 不要抄 Claude 的 `mcp init --client claude`。
- 不要对这张表跑 `mcp login`。
- 不要给它 `required = true` 挂全局。
